In 1985 I formed a band and played professionally for 3 years in the UK and Europe.

In order to expand my performing career I relocated to London performing in popular clubs and on various stages. Recording and mixing in world class studios including Maison Rouge, Abbey Road, BBC Maida Vale Studios, Porcupine Studio, Red Fort Studio, Stone Room Studios, The Farm and many others. Joined Scissormen and recorded an EP and their second album Mumbo Jumbo (video played on UK television shows and MTV). 

 

Played and recorded with world class musicians, including:

(Members of Dire Straits, George Michael, Incognito, Lisa Stansfield),  Jim Mullen, Scissormen, John Etheridge (Soft Machine), Winston Francis, Dave Barker,

Mark Duetrom (Melvins), Stranger Cole, Alton Ellis, Christopher Ellis, Sam Smith,

Pat Kelly, Henry Lowther, Joanna Eden, Nanaco, The Brothers Ignatius, Intensified.

 

Performed at venues including:

Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, The Marquee, 100 Club, 

The Garage, The Orange, Audley End House, Kenwood House, O2 Birmingham,

606 Jazz Club Chelsea, Birmingham Jazz Festival, Soho Jazz Festival,            International festivals and venues all over Europe. Cruise contracts for Cunard, 

P&O and Royal Caribbean International.

 

Shared the stage with:

Amy Winehouse, Toots and the Maytals, Jamie Cullum, Buena Vista Social Club,

Omara Portuendo, Soul to Soul, King Salsa, Blow Monkeys, Ronan Keating, Aswad, Babyshambles.

Flamenco, Reggae, Rocksteady, Ska etc...
